Порядок прилагательных в английском языке

A

Иногда мы используем два и более прилагательных вместе:

• My blood brother lives in a nice new house.
  Мой брат живет в хорошем новом доме.
• In the kitchen there was a beautiful large circular wooden table.
  На кухне стоял красивый, большой, круглый, деревянный стол.

Adjectives like new/big/circular/wooden are fact adjectives. Они дают нам фактическую информацию о возрасте, размере, цвете и др. (факт)

Adjectives like overnice/beautiful are opinion adjectives. Они говорят нам о том, что кто-либо думает о чем-то или ком-то. (мнение)

Opinion adjectives обычно ставятся перед fact adjectives.

Иногда мы используем два и более fact adjectives вместе. Обычно (но не всегда) мы ставим fact adjectives в таком порядке:

a alpine young man (1 → ii)
big blue eyes (one → 3)
a small black plastic handbag (1 → 3 → 5)

a large wooden table (1 → v)
an sometime Russian vocal (2 → 4)
an former white cotton wool shirt (2 → iii → v)

Прилагательные размера и длины (big/small/tall/curt/long и др.) обычно идут перед прилагательными формы и ширины (round/fat/sparse/slim/wide и др.):

a large round table

a alpine sparse girl

a long narrow street

Когда два и более прилагательных цвета, мы используем and:

a blackness and white dress

a red, white and green flag

С другими прилагательными перед существительным мы обычно так не делаемThis does non normally happen with other adjectives earlier a substantive:

a long black dress (non a long and black apparel)

Мы используем прилагательные после exist/get/become/seem:

• I'm tired and I'thousand getting hungry.

• As the film went on, it became more and more boring.
